Ted's Pulled Pork Cooked in the Crock Pot

My husband cooked a pork butt in the crock pot the other day while I was at school with the My Little Ones.  ~love~  It was soooo Delicious!  Pulled apart with a fork and we had the BEST pulled pork sandwiches.  Unfortunately, there were no pictures of the actual sandwiches.  It was all eaten before I could find my camera.  The Boys were taking pictures again.  ~smile~

Ted's Pulled Pork Cooked in the Crock Pot

3 lb Pork Butt
2 Tablespoons coarse ground Garlic with Parsley
2 Tablespoons Lemon Pepper

Sear pork butt on all sides.
Put in crock pot and sprinkle seasonings all over.
No liquid is needed.

Cook on low for 4-6 hours.

His was done in 5 and kept on warm.
Pull the pork..shred it.
Return to crock pot and add favorite bar b que sauce or my Lemony Hot Sauce (below)
Moist, flavorful and Delicious just the way it is!

I made a Lemony Hot Sauce that I poured over part of the meat (ours).  While leaving the little one's plain.

Lemony Hot Sauce

Degrease drippings, I ended up with 1/ 2 cup.
1/8 - 1/4 lemon juice, always start with less and add more if you need to
1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground garlic and sea Salt
1 1/2 teaspoons freshly ground mixed Peppercorns
3/4 cup Ketchup
2-4 Tablespoons Hot Sauce, depending on how hot you like it, start with lesser amount first

Mix together to get the taste you like and pour over pulled pork in crock pot.
