I love this feature on #CookingPlanit!  You are able to add any dietary restrictions your family and friends have when preparing a meal.  It is saved in your personal Planit.  A plus since my oldest son is allergic to soy.

I made a few adaptions on Grandma Rose's Spaghetti and Meatballs and Cheesy Garlic Bread to suit my family and what I had on hand.  Making this meal should be a real test since there are so many different ingredients to prep and steps to take to make it complete.

A glimpse at the many ingredients of this meal.

Some of the prep and cooking steps.

Cooking Planit gives you a list of all ingredients needed to complete a full meal or dish.  Kitchen equipment needed, prep and cooking steps are listed for you to preview.

You can read the steps before you begin the cooking process.  I have to admit, I was very anxious to finish since I am used to doing things at my own pace.  Timing steps of recipes is not something I normally do.  Cooking Planit, did come in handy more than I thought when I was preoccupied with my boys and was reminded it was time to go on to another step of preparing my meal.

The changes I made to the recipes.

For the tomato sauce, I used 3 cans diced tomatoes, with juice..eliminating the water, in place of the two cans of strained tomatoes and tomato sauce.  I also used the whole can of tomato paste.  The sugar was increased to taste.

I decreased the amount of salt in the water for the pasta to 1 teaspoon.

The meatballs were changed by increasing garlic and cheese.  Using one pound each of ground chuck and pork.  Adding 1/3 teaspoon freshly ground pepper and 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt.

Awesome cooked meatballs are added to the great tomato sauce.

I used french bread...it's what I had on hand.

We love this Cheesy Garlic Bread!

There is my meal cooked from Cooking Planit.  It was wonderful!  Don't forget to signup for your free account on Cooking Planit!  You will need this to enter all giveaways.  Mine starts tomorrow, September 2, 2013!  You can enter today at some of them fantastic bloggers in the matrix.
