Apple Cider Pound Cake

As soon as I saw apple cider at the market last weekend, I knew what I was going to make!

An old recipe adapted from The Southern Heritage Cakes Cookbook .. link below.
The sweet taste of apple cider blends with spices and a light coating of apple cider powdered sugar.

Shall we dare make this over the top with a glass of apple cider?
Spices speckle the moist slice of Apple Cider Pound Cake.  Feel free to add or reduce spices to suit your taste.  You could even replace them with apple pie spice.
My boys love apple cider now that I've made this cake!

Getting ready to go in the oven.
YUM!
