Out of time to make Cake Pops? Try using Swiss Rolls. I have never made cake pops before and the thought of baking a cake, tearing it all apart, adding frosting and then mixing it up again was more than I have time to do.
I have an over abundance of sweets, I’ll tell y’all about this later, so I decided to try making cake pops with swiss rolls. Super easy! Even I can make them. Granted, I haven't used candy melts this way so you will have to forgive the looks.
Explore with other boxed treats....cupcakes, mini cakes anything with icing and/or filling should work. Even bags of little donuts..if too dry, add a little canned icing.

Ingredients
Box of Swiss Rolls…6 packages of 2 in each box
(I made three small cake pops from each package)
candy melts
oil to thin candy melts
lollipop sticks
Smash Swiss Rolls with a fork.
Roll into your desired shape.
Freeze 10 minutes or so.
While freezing…melt candy melts according to directions.
Take pops out of freeze, dip lollipop stick in melted candy (I had to add oil to make it thin enough to dip) insert in swiss roll pop.
Sorry about the picture..camera is acting up and this is the only one that was visible.
Place in freezer for 10 minutes to set candy on stick.
Remove from freezer and dip in candy. Twice if needed.
