Potatoes with Cream Sauce
4 large potatoes, I used Idaho
1 cup Milk
2-3 tablespoons flour
salt and pepper to taste
Dice potatoes, add water to cover and a teaspoon of salt.
Bring to a boil
Once fork tender, pour off half the potato water in a glass. I love to drink this!
Mix flour with a little milk to get out lumps. Pour this and the remaining milk in pot with potatoes
Cook on a low boil for 3 minutes or so...until the flour taste is gone and the liquid is not thick.
If too thick..add more milk. If too thin, add a tad more flour. This will thicken a little as it sits.
Season with more salt and pepper as desired. I like more pepper in mine.
Enjoy! Love and Hugs!
