Southern Skillet Green Beans with Ham Cooked in T-Fal Skillet

As a Southerner, food is about the seasoning.  Seasoned with love and pork is just about all there is to cookin’ a great meal.  Y'all know, everything is better when there is pork in it.  Beans of every sort have a hunk, or pieces, of ham, bacon, salt pork or hog jowl.  This dish is a skillet stir fry of a Southern classic…Green Beans with Ham.  I used my new T-fal skillet, I received as a gift to review from Cooking Planit, to make this comfort dish. You can read my review for T-Fal here and for Cooking Planit here.  Enter my Cooking Planit T-Fal Giveaway!

Alfredo Green Bean Casserole

A spin on my Mama's, and probably yours too, green bean casserole.  The one with mushroom soup, french style green beans and fried onions.  I loved my Mama's green bean casserole and looked forward to eating it.  However, my boys like alfredo better, so....I made it with alfredo sauce and it was  HIT!    Try it for something different.  I bet your family will like it too.  <3 and hugs!

Green Bean Salad

I baked a ham today.  The boys wanted sweet potatoes and green beans.  Hubby wanted a sandwich and I wanted a salad.  I love how you can use ham in so many ways and there is still plenty left for another day or two plus I'll use the bone for soup or beans.   So looking forward to that!
