I know you want this! I can see it all over your face. Come on…admit it! There you go, I knew you would. ~smile~ I’ve changed an old dessert to a “healthier” version. Healthier, but by no means healthy. Big difference so eat sparingly. Or, eat like a piggy and diet for a month to make up for it. ~big guilty grin!~ This makes a lot! It is a huge frozen dessert. You can make it in smaller pans or even cupcake liners as very cute and easy to handle dessert for the children and adults alike! Go ahead…make someone people happy! Enjoy

My Precious Great Aunt Louise’s Rice Pudding <3 and my Fruity Rice Pudding
My parents and Grandparents have all passed away. I don’t talk with my sisters…..often. I have cousins I chat with through email and facebook. I moved away from home at the age of 20 and with it I left behind the opportunity to gather the Treasured Recipes of My Family. I have asked others to share theirs with me. Through this I have reconnected with my very Sweet Cousin, Linda. She is so special to me and is always there when I need her. She graciously shared a few Treasured Recipes with me of our family. (Thank you so much Linda…Love You!) This Rice Pudding Recipe was her Precious Mama’s. I know you will enjoy it!
My Great Aunt Louise. I remember when I was very young…She lived nearby. We didn’t have any other family that lived in the state, it was such a Blessing to share time with her and have family closeby. When My Precious Mama was very sick, and in the hospital, Aunt Louise came to stay with us…My Darlin’ Daddy, my sisters and I. She helped take care of our family and our home. She was a rock for us and I am forever grateful for her and the memories I have of her. I truly Love and Miss her…..<3

Great Aunt Louise’s Rice Pudding
Ingredients
2 cups cooked rice
4 eggs, beaten
3 cups milk
1 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons vanilla
1/2 cup raisins…optional
Directions
Beat Eggs. Stir in sugar. Add other ingredients. Stir. Spray oven proof
casserole dish with Pam. Pour mixture into dish. Set dish in pan of hot
water and bake at 300 degrees for 90 minutes. After 30 minutes of cooking
insert spoon at edge of pudding and stir from the bottom to distribute
rice and raisins.
Fruity Rice Pudding
I changed mine a little by adding 1/4 to 1/2 pureed banana
I used a whole banana, pictured above and it was great, but it was a little too much
1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1 1/2 cups diced apples
increased cinnamon to 3/4 teaspoon
decreased vanilla to 1 teaspoon
Place in a crock pot and cooked on low for 3-5 hours, depending on your crock pot.
Stirring occasionally once it starts to thicken.

Chocolate Chip Banana Cream Cookie Pie
I know we are just like everyone of you with more than one child. It seems everyone wants something different. We either take turns with who gets to chose what, or like today, I take what everyone wants and turn it into one dish. This time I combined Chocolate Chips Cookies one wanted with Bananas another wanted and Pudding the last one wanted. The end result was GREAT! With the help of one of the twins, we had this delicious "Pie" ready for all to enjoy! We hope you do too! <3 and Hugs!

Chocolate Chip Banana Cream Cookie Pie
Large Bag Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix and ingredients to fix it.
Large Box Instant Banana Cream Pie Pudding
2-3 Bananas
2 1/2 cups milk
I used Better Crocker Cookie mix with one egg and reduced the margarine to 6 tablespoons. Mix and cook in a lightly greased pie plate at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. As always...my oven is different than yours so start checking early. :D Cool on rack.
While cooling make pudding.
Once cookie is cooled...slice bananas and layer on cookie. Add pudding and let set in fridge for 4 hrs.
Top with whipped topping. I keep mine in the freezer.
Cut a piece and put in the freezer for a bit. It is so Good frozen! Enjoy! <3 and Hugs!

National Smores Day
Yesterday was National Smores Day! The blog was down and I was unable to post our contribution to it. My Boys have a wonderful, and messy, time assembling there smores. Super easy to make with pudding and marshmallow fluff. My intentions were to freeze them and have Frozen Smores except, yeah you know what is coming next, they were gone before I could save one. I'll try to make another batch today and freeze them. Enjoy!
Smores
Graham Crackers
Small box of Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding
1 1/2 cups Milk
Marshmallow Fluff
Whisk pudding mix and milk. Let set in refrigerator for 5 minutes.
Set out graham crackers, marshmallow fluff and pudding on a tray. You'll see why. ~winks~
Let the children assemble and watch smiles grown on messy faces!
